The Pan African road trip, dubbed Kilometre 51, is a youth-centric event that is designed to promote regional youth interaction. Although packed with a lot fun activity, the social event will campaign for a borderless Africa united by deliberate synergies.
THE GOLD COAST EDITION
The entire event, which will be recorded and/or live streamed, will feature townhall engagements at University campuses/Nigerian High Commissions in the various countries in the event route. These townhall meetings will host a panel of business and political thought leaders who will dissect the successes, failures and opportunities that exist in a regional cooperation like the ECOWAS and the African Union (AU). The debate will pivot around topics like;
Economy, Trade and Funding, Education and R&D, Security, Youth and Governance, Migration and Tourism

As part of efforts aimed at displaying the art and cultures of the local communities we will be visiting and driving through, the team member (see host name) who is a culinary expert, has put together a few cookout events that will showcase local delicacies.
To further spice up the entire Gold Coast series, Meallenium has proposed to feed the entire team the local dish in each country. The highlights of the proposed activity include;
– Visit to the local market with media crew and local chef host
– Live cooking sessions where the local host will teach our visiting chef 3 cuisines and 1 secret recipe

As part of efforts aimed at displaying the art and cultures of the local communities that we will be visiting and driving through, the team member (see host name) who is an artist, has put together a lineup of activities to thrill art lovers.
Aired live and streamed online, the recyclable artist will source for materials locally to develop a 15ft x 10ft art work (portrait drawings or sculpted works) of either a person (dead or alive), a place or an event (either current or in history) without telling in advance which one he is about. The final work(s) will be auctioned and 100% of proceeds committed to girl child education throughout the region.
The highlights of the proposed activity include;
– Sourcing for raw material with locals and host artists
– Producing art works teamed up with local artists
– Presentation of art work(s)
